Patricia's Relatives Visit

We were blessed to have visitors from the Philippines and New York. Patricia's two aunts from the Philippines came in July for an extended visit and her aunt and uncle from NY visited for a week in August. I have now met almost all of Pat's aunts - from London to New York to Palawan.

Family Week

Last week was a great convergence of family at my parents farm. All togther, there were my grandpa Steve & grandma Peggy Sankey, grandma Lena Babiuk, my mom Elaine & dad Murray, my sister Kim, brother-in-law Yan, nephew Nicholas, cousin Amy & her husband Karis and their son Zachary, and of course Patricia.
Don't get any ideas! Kim re-discovers her roots. Scott is wow'ed by the GPS steering Family supper at Mom & Dad's

And the price of barely fell 7.50 per tonne or 70 cents a bushel (a big drop). When the government annouced plans a few months ago to deregulate the barley market the price jumped up.

What clearer evidence do people need that the free market is good and adds value? And that regulation and monopoly buying destroys value? Oh, but the free market is SO SCARY! CBC Story
