George Bush singing "Sunday Bloody Sunday"

The current events in the Middle East are enough to make one pretty depressed in the future of humanity. I was casting about Google Video again and found a somewhat humorous clip that seemed appropriate for the events of today, featuring the biggest newsmaker of the last few years. Whatever one's politics, one and all should enjoy this clip of Bush singing U2's "Sunday, Bloody Sunday."

Saipan

Okay, now comes the rest of the update from my trip. I know I am not as diligent/timely at updating my blog as others (i.e. Kim) may want but I was really wasted from the trip and needed recovery time. I just added it up and I flew 19,900 miles, saw 9 different airports and passed through 4 countries during the trip. Great fun, although my next expense report will not be pretty. Here are some pics of the stop over at Ken and Crystal's in Saipan. Here is a picture of Ken and I in the bombed out "Last Command Post" from WWII when the Japanese were cleared off the island. Here is Patricia in front of the hotel that we stayed at.Ken was so helpful in getting me in the water and re-introducing me to swimming and snorkeling. Scuba diving here I come! !Here's Ken, Tasi, and I as the day draws to a close.

I am so grateful for Ken and Crystal's hospitality. Patricia and I had a wonderful time and now I only wish Saipan was closer!
